Basic OB 1

With Basic Obedience 1, this is the start of any training program. There are a few methods of trainings used here at WCC. Each dog is different and will require a little different approach. Typically Inducive and Compulsive training is generally what we use. This is your typical training that many are familiar with. It allows for the dog to use verbal cues and/or leash manipulation to final into the desired position or action.

$190 / 1 Class / 60-90 min. $120 / Add a Class / 60 min.

Advanced OB 2

Advanced Obedience 2 builds upon the skills and training learned in the Basic Obedience 1 class. All dog training requires a strong foundation and that is the purpose of Basic Obedience 1. Allowing your dog off-leash while using hand commands and voice may seem difficult, but with a little patience and good focus, you may never have to use a leash for your day to day activities.

$300-420 / 2 Classes / 60 min.

Custom Training

Some dogs need a custom approach to training. Training is not a one size fits all with certain breeds. Whether is aggression, anxiety, or high drive/energy, a special tailored training plan is a great way to go. Certain stimuli can affect the dogs learning behavior not allowing full focus on you or the trainer.

All training classes include

  • Written Detailed Training Plan (Details a training plan for you and your dog moving forward.)

  • Daily Training Sheet (Details your daily training class.)

  • Free Consultation (Lets make sure your K9 is a good candidate before moving forward.)

The successes of training strongly depends on three factors: an owner’s willingness to heed the advice of the trainer (the professional), proper reinforcement at home and maintaining an open line of communication with the trainer. Cooperation from all parties is key.

It is understood and expected that while your dog is undergoing training, an adjustment to an unfamiliar handler, a new environment and new exposures (stresses) may temporarily alter your dogs eating habits and behavior. Any unadvised owner intervention during training can cause setbacks. Please understand that dogs can sense their owner’s anxiety and will respond accordingly.

Please Read Carefully

An owner’s/handler’s commitment to reinforcement training is the ultimate long-term defining factor as to how successful dog training can be. Do not be misled, NO TRAINER, can guarantee the everlasting effectiveness of training. YOU as the owner/handler must be committed to executing your newly trained dog with the techniques provided during your training and evaluation session. Constant and consistent daily training will progress your dog’s skill and is essential to keeping and building upon the training learned. Do not hesitate to present us with any questions regarding your dog’s training or progress during the training phase or after a training program(s) has been undergone.
